Vienna

Karlsplatz, this is where we thought the tour was going to start but it didn't.  So we did our own self guided walking tour and it was great.  Nice, slow and relaxing. Throughout the two days we were in Vienna this square became our homebase and we really liked it.

Austrian Parliament Building.

There was an area with a film festival and cold pools to dip your feet in.  It felt so nice because it was a warm day.

Here is where Freud lived when he was in Vienna.  Now it is a museum.

Then we went down by the Danube River and saw the graffiti art. It was also cool because they had small beaches set up along the river to relax at.

We ate this amazing ice-cream.  This family has been making ice-cream forever and it shows.  YUMMMM!

We ended day one by going a bit out of town to this vineyard and hill to look out over Vienna.

Day two started at the Schonbrunn Palace walking around the gardens.  But when we got there at 9 in the morning it was already busy!

We went to this graveyard with over 2.5 million graves.

Stopped at the Botaniccal Gardens for some people watching and nice place to rest.

Then ended our trip back at Karlsplatz.  It was great!
