The Grand Tour

Here is our Kitchen!  I remember being at Ikea with Mom and she commented on how much she liked this red kitchen.  Well Mom we now have it.  So far we have been cooking a bit.  We have made grilled cheese, something like pesto, eggs, applesauce, pizza burgers, stuffed chicken, broccli, BLTs, and tea!  If you have any good easy recipes please send them our way!  I was going to copy some of my favorites out of Mom’s but I didn’t.  

Our Kitchen is also our Dining Room!  Kayla and I are just hoping we make some more friends so all four chairs can be used!  Opposite our Kitchen/Dining Room is the Living Room.   

The apartment has three Bedrooms.  Two of them are smaller and the third is pretty big.  Kayla and I each took one of the smaller rooms and moved our desks from them into the larger room and decided that it would be our office!  Our bedrooms each have a twin bed, a dresser, a chair, and a nightstand!  No closet though so in our front entrance we have everything hung in that closet!  This is my room!

Then of course we have a toilet room and a bathroom!  Our washing machine seems to be working pretty well although when we put our cloths in we are never sure how long it will be until we get them back or if they will have any color left.  The wash cycle can take up to 3 hours to complete, so needless to say but we are still trying to figure out what all the letters on the dial mean.  Who would have known that laundry would be so complicated!

Lastly this is our Balcony and our view of the mountains and the city!  Our complex also has a small playground for kids, lots of kids live in these apartments.
