Beginning of the Year

So I am a bit behind on blogging but this fall has gone so fast so far.  Once we arrived back in Poland everything just started so quickly but I now have a moment to blog.  I will just give you all a bit of the highlights and of course lots of pictures.  Good news Adrian was waiting for us at the airport when we got to Krakow so the flight was smooth and easy!

First we have a new roommate this year and her name is Kat.  She is from the UK and is a great girl.  We have enjoyed getting to know her and having someone else to hang around with.

One weekend we had a campfire at Adrian and Iza’s house. We got to have sausages and S’MORES!!!  It was a lot of fun.

Then we went to Krakow for a day just to show Kat a bit of the basics.   We got to tour the dragon’s den for the first time so that was exciting.  It is only open in the summer and so we hadn’t gotten a chance until a few weeks ago.  Besides that it was a pretty relaxed day.  Kat tried her first oscypek (Mountain Cheese) and we stumbled upon Pope John Paul’s house.

Then it was Kayla’s Birthday and I was a bit more punctual with the pie this year.  It has been really nice knowing what different things are at the store and where to buy various things.  In this picture it looks like the pie is on fire but it isn’t!!!

That is all for now!  I will blog again soon though.
