Falling for Fall

For Kayla’s Birthday we hopped to spend sometime in the mountains.  As the weekend approached we had some hurdles to overcome booking a place but Adrian and Iza were on it and found us a great cottage in the mountains.  The colors were breathtaking and the cottage was adorable.

On the way we stopped along to road at a dam and the trees, the sun and the colors were unbelievable.  After I took “a few” pictures we preceded to the cabin.  For dinner we had chips, sausages, a LOT of oscypek (mountain cheese), and another apple pie.

After the fire died out a bit we went inside, played some games and headed off to bed.  In the morning we woke up bright and early, made eggs and bacon in pots and packed up.  On the way back to Bielsko we stopped in a town called Wisla.  I took a picture of this man asking for money for beer (at least he was honest) and guess what … we had more oscypek (if you haven’t already guessed we LOVE oscupek).

Later on we took a chair lift up Ustron.  Again the weather, colors and view were picturesque.   I got to experience alpine slides and then we rode back down.  Even thought we were close to Bielsko it seemed like a weekend away and it was great to spend tome with some awesome friends.
