Arc de Triomphe and the Champs de Èlysées

The Arc de Triomphe stands at the end of the Champs de Èlysées with twelve radiating avenues and the largest roundabout in the world.

We walked all the way around and even got a couple to take our picture together in front of it.  Well it didn’t work out the way we were thinking.

The traffic was pretty crazy and some apparently crazy folks were even biking around with the traffic.

We got to stop at Gap and then headed to meet Daniel for the tour of The Palace of Versailles.  We thought we could walk to the meeting spot in 20 minutes, but it was two and a half miles (we didn’t realize this at the time) and we ended up running most of the way and it took us 25 minutes.  We were late and almost missed the tour.  But it all worked out we caught up at McDonalds!

This is the Abercrombie and Fitch
